We had a great snorkel tour! We couldn’t go to turtle town because of bad visibility from the hurricane, but we spent extra time at molokini crater. We saw so many awesome fish! We even saw a barracuda and some eels. Huge shoutout to Noah who was super friendly and answered all our questions about the kinds of fish we were seeing. Food and open bar were also great! Super friendly and helpful crew all around. They also have a really fun slide off the back of the boat. So glad we chose pride of Maui!

Brought my parents and husband on the Molokini Snorkel tour, this was while Hurricane Lowell began entering Hawaiian waters. The entire time we felt safe and were constantly being checked on and offered proactive care for any sea sickness due to the larger than normal swell. The boat is very comfortable with 2 bathrooms, and an outside warm water shower to rinse. The snorkel gear offered with wet suit shirt add on were well maintained and clean. The food was fresh and tasted great. Even though our second planned stop, Turtle Town, was unavailable due to the waves, the staff found a secondary location in a safe area for more snorkeling. During the whole trip, it was apparent the care of the guests was the priority.

We had a wonderful time on the Pride of Maui Elua snorkel tour! Captain Justin and his crew were extremely attentive to the needs of each guest, adding to the luxurious feeling that this particular cruise offered! The food was good, drinks were better and the weather was beautiful. This is something I’d highly recommend doing during your stay in Maui!

An enjoyable evening with good food and unlimited cocktails with traditional music and dance provided. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Also included was a beautiful sunset. 😊

Awesome new ship. Hats off to Captain Justin Turner and his crew ( Savanna, Diego & Sam). They were fantastic. Knowledgeable. Friendly. They went out of their way to be helpful and make sure everyone had a great time. Lunch and bar were steps above the usual. I highly recommend them for your Maui snorkeling adventure.

Boat left 5 minutes after 7:30. No phone call, nobody on the phone lines to answer when my husband and I couldn’t find the boat despite reading the description several times and looking everywhere for the boat. Spent $470 on 2 tickets to be left without even a 10 minute window.

Great day on the water with Cayden, Sienna, Anna and Diego. Crater was beautiful and we saw turtles and a seal at Turtle Town. Boat was very nice and comfortable. Hot water showers and clean bathrooms were a total plus. We had family from ages 14 to 80 and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!

This is a company I personally wouldn’t book with again. The whole experience felt like a very fast-paced, chaotic snorkeling excursion. If you’re a first-timer or looking for a more hands-on, relaxed experience, I wouldn’t recommend this one (only one person was in the water with us the entire time and it was the snuba instructor). Also, vegans and anyone with dietary restrictions, beware: they don’t seem to reliably accommodate dietary needs. We pre-booked a vegan meal, and I even called ahead of time. Then on board I was told, “We sometimes mess up, so I don’t know if we have anything for you.” That was incredibly frustrating, especially since we double chrcked in advance. The only vegan option available was a single vegan patty, no breakfast, no bun, no sides. For a five-hour excursion that costs nearly $300 per person, that was really disappointing. The crew also wasn’t particularly friendly toward people, especially children. I don’t have children, but I watched a young kid ask for a glass of water at the bar, and a crew member told him to “grab it yourself” and scoffed. The kid was half the size of the water pitcher, so I found that interaction pretty unnecessary and unkind, I grabbed the kid some water instead. Overall, I was really disappointed with the experience. Maui has so many snorkeling excursions to choose from, and next time I’d definitely go with another company.

The crew on this trip were so extremely obnoxious and rude. We basically paid full price to be treated like dirt and waste our precious time in Maui. We Didn't see the crater or a turtle for that matter- no turtle town. No real explanation but "it happens". Ok well their alternate route was not enjoyable or anything what we were expecting for $600. The hot dogs I would not eat and the hamburgers made us all sick. Not to mention they just threw out tons of food left uneaten, it seemed extremely wasteful. Between the captain and "snuba" instructor- they either hate their jobs or just hate people. I would give this company a hard pass. I do not recommend this company for anyone looking for an enjoyable excursion.

The Pride of Maui 'Elua Luxury Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkel Tour was an exceptional experience. The boat, captain, and crew were all excellent. The smaller number of participants also contributed to a positive experience. Highly recommend!

Reservation said to check-in at 730a, but no crew was there at 730a, so not a good start. Better to show up at 745a so you don't have to wait for the crew. Boat configuration did not have enough covered seating for people who did not want five hours of intense Hawaii sun, which was another early-on issue. Wetsuit rentals were just tops instead of shorty wetsuit (covering lower portion of torso), so got cold in the water a little sooner. Would have preferred some sort of island-native food for lunch instead of cheeseburgers. Mixed drinks were fair. Crew was very cheerful, very friendly and very helpful! This was our third snorkeling trip to Molokini crater in as many years, and it is a must-see snorkeling site, but future trips will likely be with one of the other two previous boats we liked better.
