We have high praise for Porto Planet! My teenage daughter and I asked them (with short notice) to plan a 4 day trip to Crete. Rallou was exceptionally responsive in the planning stage. She and Yannis worked hard to put something wonderful together for us, taking seriously our needs and preferences. It was so great to meet them and have them join in the excellent cooking class that we experienced. They are prompt, warm and knowledgeable. They take pride in their work and in their homeland. Every ride was on time. All 3 hotels that they arranged were great. Conversations with them were fun and educational. We would definitely work with them again. Thanks so much, Porto Planet!

Yiannis put together an amazing tour. At the last minute, he accommodated an unexpected change to where our cruise ship was docking and put together an alternate tour that was delightful. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tour in Crete.

We were looking all over the place for an out of the ordinary experience and we decided to take a gamble on Porto planet. What we got was an amazing culinary tour that left us full and satiated. A wonderful 9 day tour of mainland Greece was organised for two of us by Porto Planet. All transfers (private drivers) and many excellent tour guides. We love archeological sites and were treated to fascinating visits to the Acropolis, Delphi, Ancient Olympia, Mycenae, theatre of Epidaurus and more. We also went right up North to see Vikos gorge and great scenery. Everything was perfect, accomodation, transfers, guides, some meals & particularly the personal daily attention from Rallou. Highly recommend this company

If you do one thing in Crete, it has to be this Heraklion tour with Rallou!!! Born and raised a true Cretan local, Rallou knows all of the best spots and hidden gems. You will have amazing food, learn about some of the history and culture of Heraklion and see the city through the eyes of a local! Rallou was so friendly and you can tell she is passionate about her hometown. Worth every penny and then some!!!

The places we went were varied and local fare. The pace was fast enough and the mix with restaurants and antiquities was just right. It would have been better if the guide could have used a microphone but I don’t know if that would be allowed in the area. Maybe headsets would be a good choice since it’s hard to hear with all the background noise.
