Itinerary
A stunning 16th-century tower house built by the Ó hEidhin clan.
Pass by: Kinvara is a picturesque seaside village located in south County Galway, on the edge of Galway Bay and at the gateway to The Burren, one of Ireland’s most unique and dramatic landscapes. The name Kinvara comes from the Irish Cinn Mhara, meaning “head of the sea,” reflecting its historic maritime connections.
Newtown Castle is a beautifully restored 16th-century tower house located about 2.5 km southwest of Ballyvaughan in County Clare, nestled within the Burren landscape.
Corkscrew Hill (Co. Clare) — not in Cork city — is a stunning scenic route on the road between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna, right through the wild Burren landscape.
The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks and a must-visit destination on the Wild Atlantic Way. Located in County Clare, these dramatic sea cliffs stretch for about 14 kilometres (9 miles) along the Atlantic coast and reach heights of up to 214 meters (702 feet) at their tallest point near O'Brien’s Tower.
Doonagore Castle is a beautifully positioned 16th-century round tower house perched on a hill about 1 km from Doolin, overlooking Doolin Point and the Atlantic coast. Built of sandstone from nearby Flaggy Beach, unlike most local castles made of limestone, it stands out with its distinctive cylindrical form and fortified bawn wall Doolin Pier Cliffs View – A Unique Perspective of the Cliffs of Moher If you're looking to experience the Cliffs of Moher from a different, less crowded, and more intimate perspective, Doolin Pier offers a stunning alternative.
Doolin is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy an authentic Irish lunch. This charming coastal village is just a 10-minute drive from the cliffs and is known for its traditional music, warm hospitality, and hearty local fare. Doolin Pier Cliffs View – A Unique Perspective of the Cliffs of MoherDoolin Pier is a perfect spot if you're looking to experience the Cliffs of Moher from a different, less crowded, and more intimate perspective. From here, you can admire the majestic cliffs rising dramatically from the Atlantic Ocean, offering a unique view that most visitors miss. The ocean breeze, crashing waves, and panoramic coastal scenery create an unforgettable atmosphere
The limestone pavement in The Burren, County Clare, is one of the most distinctive and otherworldly landscapes in Ireland - and in Europe. Limestone pavement is a flat or gently sloping expanse of exposed limestone rock, naturally sculpted over thousands of years. The Burren's pavement is a classic example formed during the last Ice Age and shaped further by erosion.
Hazel Mountain Chocolate is a charming bean-to-bar chocolate factory, café, and shop tucked into the Burren hills of County Clare, just off the Wild Atlantic Way. Since opening in 2014, this family-run artisan producer has quickly risen to national prominence, earning awards from the Academy of Chocolate and recognition by the Irish Times as a top‑10 cafe.

Traveler reviews
Perfect day to see the Cliffs with an awesome tour guide!
Wonderful tour of this gorgeous coastal area of Ireland! John was an amazing guide who gave us several options on how to structure our day to make the most of our time. We loved the rugged natural beauty of the Cliffs, and he also showed us some more “local” spots which made for great pictures and memories. Capping the day off with a tour and sampling of the Hazel Mountain chocolates left a sweet memory for us to enjoy for many days as we are bringing back what we could carry! Would definitely recommend this tour and John for a delightful day in luxurious style!
Vistas Galore
This was a great tour. John our guide was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and took us not only to the advertised locations but also off the beaten track down local roads for some super vistas and cultural immersion. The day was a beautiful sunny day and the Cliffs were spectacular. We have so many amazing photos from the day. Corcomroe Abbey was so peaceful and beautiful. John made it an amazing day.
Beautiful scenery
John was a wonderful guide! He was very friendly and knowledgeable… offered to stop and take our picture at some scenic views. The cliffs of Moher are breathtaking! Folk park & Bunratty castle were a lot of fun.

Amazing
John was very informative and kind. He let us sleep and regenerate in between stops. It was a very long day and even longer for him yet he pressed on like a champ! Even gave up a special day at home to drive us around.
