Shopping in Ciudad Del Este - Paraguay
Prices compensate a lot. Just take some essential care like: Ignore the help of people on the street (mainly people asking what you're looking for and people selling socks); keep your money safe and take a backpack.
Go to Cell Shop directly
We bought the tour along with our tickets and who attended us was the company mmc tourism. We went from van to shopping Paris, which is beautiful, has good shops but many expensive. China shopping on the third floor is good, but some things more expensive than its competitors. We had 5 hours to shop so we had to run to the Cell shop and other shops on the street. If you are with children do not go out of the inside of the shopping, if you are afraid or have never walked for a March 25, bras or good retreat in commemorative times be very careful. On the streets you will find many opportunists, do not accept help or indications because they can take you to alleys and blackmail you, or even steal. From shopping Paris to the Cell shop you take around 15 minutes walking, it is worth going because there you really good prices, accept Pix and nomad. It has everything, it's two towers and you need to go in time to see everything. Most things compensated for buying right there. Nissei store is also reliable, has good prices. The camels are not very reliable, we don't feel very safe on the street, so be careful.
A place to be if you live in Brazil
It was just a shopping visit. It was a good place to visit. But we will not visit again. The price in some stores are really good if we compare with the stores in Brazil, but how we live in Europe the prices wasn’t good. We went outside the Shopping Mall but the street was so busy and the product with a lower quality that after 5 minutes we where back to the Shopping mall.
Absolutely nothing worth buying!!!!!!
We used the trip just to go to another country. The border crossing was very quick as the driver/guide put our details on a form so no passport checks or stamps. I gave it one star as trip advertised as a shopping trip. You will be disappointed as everything was more expensive than I would have paid back in uk and I do mean everything. The tills were not ringing as nobody buying as cost too much. The Paris shopping centre had no restaurants just a few coffee shops and felt trapped in there. We were done after an hour and had to wait another 4 hours before the trip back so very bored just sat around with nothing to do. Although the trip was so cheap I would have crossed the bridge/border by foot and done it myself for a better experience. Place didn’t feel as unsafe as people make out.
Tour Paraguay and shopping
Initially we took a tour of the city, we visited some tourist attractions such as San Blas Church, museum, cachaçaria and Salto Monday. Then we went shopping, stay, know exactly what to buy so as not to spend unnecessarily, as many things cost the same in Brazil. The locations accept cards, but the IOF is charged on the card bill. They accept currency in reais, dollars and guarani. For me, what made the most of it was perfumes. Knowing how to research, you can buy wines for 2.00 to 5.00 U$. Don't forget to go to the Paris shopping mall, on the second floor there is the China shopping mall, where you have the best values and options.
