Included on the tour are visits to 2 wineries in beautiful Napa Valley or Sonoma Valley , spanning from mass production vineyards to smaller boutique wineries. This fun and informative Wine Country tour not only offers a taste of superb wineries in the region, but it also offers a chance to enjoy the splendor of the beautiful vineyards and picturesque county as your guide escorts you from winery to winery. You will visit two highly regarded wineries. There also will be some free time to enjoy historic Sonoma Plaza.
In addition, you receive a 2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Pass which gives you the opportunity to explore major sites of San Francisco with unlimited hop-on hop-off use on two routes for 2 days. You can explore San Francisco in the morning before the start of your wine tour, or simply use your 2-Day Pass afterward for hopping on and off the bus at any of the 17 stops along the Official City Tour, or the 5 stops on the Painted Ladies Tour, to explore all major sights of San Francisco at your own pace.
Half Day Wine Country Tour (approx. 4-5 hours)
Your tour departs from Fisherman's Wharf at midday and we head north, crossing the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge with great photo opportunities from high above the San Francisco Bay. The tour continues through the charming seaside town of Sausalito, and then passing through Marin County into the world famous Napa Valley and beautiful Sonoma Valley.
Enjoy the drive through the beautiful scenery with magnificent vineyards along the road and visit two highly regarded wineries for delicious wine tastings and an exclusive estate tour. A wine expert will introduce the fermentation process, barrel aging, and bottling, and you will be able to taste some of the best wines yourself. Towards the end of the day, enjoy the scenic drive back to San Francisco, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge once more as the sun slowly starts to set into the Pacific Ocean!

Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour
Enjoy this Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour on an open-top bus and see all popular attractions of San Francisco, including a drive across the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge. Visit the exciting attractions at Pier 39, watch the popular sea lion colony and see many other sights along the waterfront. Explore Chinatown, North Beach, the Civic Center and the Marina District, or go shopping at Union Square. Take a stroll around the Palace of Fine Arts, and try the ‘fresh catch-of-the-day’ at Fisherman’s Wharf.
The highlight of the tour is the ride across San Francisco’s most iconic landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge. While crossing the 1.7-mile span on an open-top bus you will have breathtaking views of the bridge, Alcatraz Island and the stunning skyline. Hop off at North Vista Point to take your best selfie, or walk across the bridge high above the bay.
Hop-On Hop-Off Painted Ladies Tour
Your ticket also unlocks the Painted Ladies Tour, a second hop-on hop-off route looping out from Union Square. Ride past the famous "Postcard Row" Painted Ladies at Alamo Square, then continue into the boutiques and colorful storefronts of Haight-Ashbury, into Golden Gate Park, and back past Chinatown's ornate Dragon's Gate to Union Square. Buses depart four times a day at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
You can choose to stay on the bus for the full tour on both routes and see all major highlights of San Francisco in about 3 hours, but with your flexible 2-day ticket you are free to explore the city at your own pace and hop on and off either tour as often as you like. The tour guides or audio commentary provide fun and informative insights about San Francisco while you enjoy the most amazing views of the city.

My friend and I had the best half day experience to Napa Valley with Big Bus Tour Company!! Big shout out to Patrick our driver for the day who was excellent with telling us different information about all the areas we drove though, and he was honestly such great fun for the entire trip which made it all the better! We only had a small group that day (2 Ireland and 2 Wales, Patrick will know) which meant Patrick also stopped at the most scenic location on the way home for some amazing views and photos and it was a great end to the trip!! We 100% recommend the trip and if you get Patrick as your driver you are in for a great trip and some great craic! Sincerely, The two girls from Ireland!
