Some of the stops on this downtown tour include Stan's Donuts, Do-Rite Donuts, and Firecakes Donuts, true donut institutions. This two hour walking tour is led by a passionate donut expert who will guide you to some of Chicago's best donut locales. This tour caters to all size groups, both large and small. The donut tour is great for bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, family reunions, weekend getaways, or even corporate events. There are two versions of the Donut Tour: The Classic Downtown Tour, as well as a local neighborhood tour in Wicker Park. Both are great options if you're excited about donuts. It really just depends on what neighborhood you want to explore: if you want to stay downtown or if you want to venture out to the Wicker Park & Bucktown neighborhoods to see how "the locals do it". The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
