Itinerary
For those of you looking for a breathtaking tour of Tuscany during the morning light or during the golden hours of the afternoon, this tour is perfect for you! Meet your friendly tour guide at Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal. Piazzale Montelungo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Santa Maria Novella train station. Grab a seat on the comfortable coach bus, and prepare to depart! During your journey to the Chianti wine region, your guide will dive into fascinating facts and information regarding the history of wine production and Gallo Nero (Black rooster). The drive will take about 40 minutes
Take in breath taking views of the Chianti countryside. A truly unforgettable experience awaits you… You will visit 2 charming wine estates in the heart of the Chianti wine region. Both estates overlook the rolling hills and lush land. You will be served up to 3-4 different types of wine in each wine estate, together with some local products, such as extra virgin olive oil, cheese and balsamic vinegar. You will also walk among the vineyards and breath in the atmosphere lost in the world famous Tuscan sun: olive groves, rolling hills, cypresses and lush vegetation will be your only travel companions...Together with the best Chianti wines of course! Visit the cellar and learn some interesting facts about the wine production.
After your delicious (and picture-perfect!) wine tastings under the Tuscan sun, it will be time to head back to Florence. You will arrive back to Piazzale Montelungo full of happy memories

Traveler reviews
Must get Italian experience
A must get experience. Locations were beautiful and they had such quality wines, the guide was awesome, gave so many insights and always giving help when needed. Top experience!
Chianti Wine Tour
The wine and food provided were amazing, however we felt a bit rushed at the vineyards and didn’t have much time to really enjoy the views and drink the wine because the vendors spent lots of time trying to sell us the wine! Our guide spoke broken English so it was a little difficult to understand her at times but overall it was still a very fun experience.
Half day wine tour
Great half day tour taking in two wineries. Recomend it if you want to see the beautiful county side and taste some local wines.
Good wineries, poor “tour guide”, zero information
The tour was good, the second winery was a nicer experience over the first winery. That being said both were good. The first you learned a lot more about the wine making process where the second was much more focused on the wine tasting. The only bad side to the tour was our guide. Honestly we got more knowledgeable information out of a public bus driver than our guide. She did her job and escorted you to and from the bus and counted heads. Beyond that not much else …. Having taken many tours we expect our guide to provide information about the regions, what we are passing by on the bus tour, etc. there was none of this.
Daisy was brilliant
The wine was good but Daisy was better
