Traveler reviews
Under expectation
We were very disappointed with the experience. The advertising is not at all what we experienced, the location and set up wasn’t at all what you see on advertising. Dinner wasn’t in the vines with lights as shown on picture. Actually We didn’t see any vines on the property. Supper was very ordinary, left hungry.
More of a sales pitch than a tour-didn't meet expectations
Nothing was mentioned in tour description that we would all be dropped off on our own for an hour in a touristy town while they went to pick up other people for the tour. The bus didn't have wifi as was advertised and you are on it for over 2 hours. Dinner in the vineyard was in a beautiful setting but it felt like we were being forced to listen to a very long sales pitch on the wine (which they ship to the us "for free" but prices start at 50eu per bottle). The food served at dinner was the only bad food we've eaten in Italy. The lasagna tasted like it was cooked hours before and served as a vehicle for tasting for their truffle oil and chilli pepper oil (which they also ship for exorbitant prices) and some of the meats were too tough to cut with a knife. IF you have never been to a wine tasting and don't know how to taste wine, and want to be instructed on everything from how to hold the glass, how to swirl the wine, how big of a sip to take and for how long, and how to recognize the flavors, and don't care about having conversation with your dinner companions, then this may be the right tour for you. Unfortunately we didn't appreciate the constant chatter about the tasting or the sales pitch that endured throughout the entire dinner. It felt like a time share pitch. This was not a relaxing or enjoyable dinner. But the setting was gorgeous and we got to see some beautiful scenery on the way to dinner!
Great tour. Winery and people at the winery, Samuel and Tamara were amazing.
Make sure you know exactly where to meet up for meeting place. Viator sent me 2 places and we missed our ride nd they said driver would not wait for us so weended up paying for a taxi $$$$$ to get to the winery.
I found it to be a very charming visit.
The experience was very satisfactory. The visit to the winery and then dinner in the vineyards. The dinner location was spectacular, the dinner was very good and abundant, you can't eat everything, and the wines were very good.
Buscaría una mejor opción
All the time they try to sell us wine. The tour guide was a mess. The van was so noisy that we couldn’t listen the tour guide and the microphone was a disaster too.
