And in the early afternoon we reach the impressive Chatsworth House. You'll have several hours here to explore. What you do and see is up to you. Maybe you'll take in the beauty of the estate's gardens? Maybe you simply can't miss the collection of masterpieces inside, artworks from Rembrandt, Reynolds, Veronese. Maybe the kids are begging you to head straight for the farmyard and playground, because who doesn't love cows and a zip line? You'll need to refuel after taking it all in. The Country Side

This tour is a great opportunity to get out of the hustle and bustle of the cities and see the beauty that is the peak District, it’s small towns and it’s grand places!

Perfect Tour Experience

Couldn’t have been more simple to plan and attend, The van was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Stuart hosted and chauffeured our drive to Chatsworth. On the way he shared super interesting anecdotal knowledge of the area and the history. We were able to make a few stops for scenic views not to mention a gorgeous hour in Buxton. We were allotted 4+ hours at Chatsworth which was the perfect amount of time to explore the house and the gardens and have a leisurely lunch. I am so pleased with the tour and couldn’t recommend anything more.

A Lovely Day in the Country

We had a very enjoyable day out in the Peak District and Visiting Chatsworth House. Fortunately, the weather was nice. It would have been much less scenic and comfortable if it had been cold and wet. Buxton was a very interesting stop and Chatsworth House and Gardens was very impressive. Unfortunate that we couldn't make a quick detour to Bakewell. A couple things prompt a Good instead of Excellent rating. First, the directions to the meeting point need to be far more specific. It appeared on Google Maps that the meeting point was just outside Manchester Piccadilly Station. It was, but on a different level of the station. They should provide a recommend place to put into Google Maps to get to the meeting spot instead of just saying the intersection of two streets. It didn't help that when we called Rabbie's for direction, the person who answer couldn't provide them. We ended up sprinting to the bus once a kind local told us how to get to where we needed to be. The other thing is I was surprised the guide could not answer a couple of my questions about Chatsworth House.
