Catamaran & snorkel
The catamaran from puerto Morelos to the reef was great. Equipment and the crew were great. Snorkeling was decent; spotted a couple turtles, stingray, lobster, barracudas, and lots of fish. We also brought along 4 kids ages 3-10. No issues. There were probably a dozen other people on the tour. Everyone was pleasant.
False advertising, still magical!
The experience was very cool!!! Snorkeling in the reef was magical. It was only a 3 and a half hour trip, which was different than advertised, which was a bummer.
Left stranded
This trip was booked at 9:58 am for a 2pm trip. We requested transportation but didn't get any information about the time for pick-up. We reached out when we started to get worried about the lack of information and we told that we couldn't get a pickup and had to get there on our own or reschedule. This was our last day in Cancun so we couldn't reschedule so we had to bite find our own way there. We also already had bracelets to the park but were forced to buy additional bracelets through the marina. The snorkeling took place at one spot and the "reef" consisted of about 90% fan coral .. Our trip was supposed to include lunch but we only got a bag of ruffles on the catamaran. Instead, we were dropped off at a restaurant for dinner after the trip....and then stranded. We had no way of getting back so we had to find our own way back. So for a trip that claimed transportation was included, we had neither transportation to nor from the marina and ended up spending about as much on transportation as we did the catamaran trip. All in all, not at all the trip we hoped for and the response from customer service was extremely apathetic. Buyer beware.
Great time
Great time great crew we were really taken care of. I highly recommend this tour We also had lunch with our tour with the best guacamole
Pick another one. Worthless and misleading.
Unfortunately, we found this very misleading and we made a poor selection. Not a very good choice. Boat was small and uncomfortable, warm premixed drinks and canned beer, awful lunch service and no selection (gourmet???) with plenty of wait time included. We never got anywhere near the reef so we saw pretty much nothing, The boat stopped so far away and they put us in a dingy boat to get a little closer. Then they herded us like cattle to swim in a group in a big circle to no where and back. They were a very nice crew however. Worthless and time consuming. The driver took 25 minutes to go 7 miles on the back streets with holes and bumps galore but on the return I asked for the main road which took 10 minutes and no bumps. Have been on other catamarans in the same area and all were so much better. So sad.
