Driver Mustafa was excellent. We...

Driver Mustafa was excellent. We asked the driver to stop the van at a petrol station half way back to Casablanca and picked up some nice cheap souvenirs, that where much cheaper then in the city of Marrakesh. Rest of the tour was okay. The guide did show us around the old and new city. The tour of the city's were nice. We wanted to shop. We did inform the guide we were more interested in shopping then sightseeing. I know the guide take us to his friends and family locations and probably got a kickback. The three selected shops that the guide took us to were expensive in our option. If that is what I wanted and thought that is what I was paying for I would of booked the tour through the cruise ship. I know that they do that.

Highly recommended. The driver was waiting at the pier hen we got off the ship. He drove us from Casablanca to Marrakech where we met our local guide. The guide spoke good English and was helpful in making purchases. We told him we wanted to see the snake charmers and we did. We knew people on the ship tour who did not see the snake charmers. The main reason for going to Marrakech was the big open market. If you were by yourself you could get lost in the maze of the open market. The guide asked us what time we wanted to leave to make sure we got back to the ship on time and the driver was waiting at that time. We got back to the ship with 45 minutes to spare. The bonus is that we paid less than 1/2 of what the ship charged and we got a personal tour with just 4 of us instead of 40 people on a bus.
