Itinerary
The Cappadocia region of Turkey is the perfect location for a hot-air balloon flight. After complimentary pickup from your hotel by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, take in views of the Turkish countryside as you head to the hot-air balloon office, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary light breakfast of fruit, sandwich, cold and hot drinks. Head to the nearby launch field and watch as your 100-foot tall (30-meter) hot-air balloon is inflated before boarding the balloon basket with your experienced pilot. Then, up you go! As you fly through the Cappadocia valleys, take a close look at the rock formations and listen to your pilot's interesting commentary about Cappadocia's history and geological formations. See churches and houses carved into the rocks as the balloon climbs approximately 1,000 feet (300 meters). You would be presented with Royal Medal after flight. Royal Queen basket size is max. 24 people and Royal King basket size max. 12 people.

The Best Hot Air Balloon Flight in Cappadocia
This was our very first hot air balloon experience, and it exceeded every expectation we had. Kaan is an exceptional pilot—professional, highly skilled, charismatic, and genuinely passionate about what he does. From the very beginning, he made everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely safe throughout the entire flight. His positive energy and sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. Flying over Cappadocia at sunrise is simply breathtaking. The views are beyond anything photos or videos can capture. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that everyone should have at least once. If you have the chance to fly with Kaan, consider yourself lucky. He turned an already incredible adventure into an unforgettable memory. Thank you for making our first balloon flight absolutely perfect. We couldn't recommend him more highly!
Amazing balloon trip!
This was the best tour! Tankut Demire was our pilot and he was excellent - kind friendly and knowledgeable. Communications before the tour were great. I would like to thank everyone at Royal Balloon for a fantastic balloon ride
Fantastic expirience

Can't describe in words or pictures
Truly beautiful, once-in-a lifetime experience. Pilot Tank was fantastic: engaging, courteous, and professional. I appreciated the additional photos and videos from perspectives you can't take yourself. I highly recommend the Royal King flight at first light with fewer guests in the basket. Overall value is excellent given the ride's uniqueness over a dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant or a day at an Orlando park.
Excellent experience even if you've been in a balloon before.
Brilliant trip this morning, well worth the 3am get up (3.50am pick up from hotel). All the pick up minibuses converge at the Royal Balloon base where an extensive breakfast is provided. After breakfast you divide into your Balloon groups and travel to the launch site to watch the balloons being inflated. Our pilot Gorkem was excellent - funny and informative, pointing out locations and happy to chat. We booked the King flight - maximum 12 people in the basket but only 9 on this occasion. It's well worth the extra money because some of the baskets held 20 people and not all had an edge view. After landing we were given champagne and a medal, and time to talk with the ground crew. Total flight time 1hr 5 minutes and excellent experience. Where else will you see 120 balloons in such a small area.
