Please arrive at the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island at the Clocktower Precinct, V&A Waterfront at least 30 minutes before the time on your pre-booked Robben Island ticket with your passport copy on your mobile or printed for verification. Once inside, please go directly to the boarding queue where you will join a group of others for a shared boat trip to Robben Island Museum. Arriving at the island you will disembark the boat and join a guided shared bus tour for sightseeing on the island. Thereafter you will meet an ex-political prisoner of Robben Island who will share his story of life on the island for the prisoners and take you to the prison cell where Nelson Mandela was held captive. The tour culminates with a step into history as you take the Long March to Freedom in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, before boarding the boat for your return transfer back to the V&A Waterfront.
