Itinerary
You will be collected at your accommodation in Cape Town by one of our representatives who is a qualified tour guide driver in a luxury vehicle en route to the helipad around the famous V&A Waterfront where you will board the helicopter to the famous Cape of Good Hope for approximately one hour.
Upon arrival at the helipad, V&A Waterfront, you will check-in, enjoy a welcome drink and receive a safety briefing. Thereafter, an experienced usher will ensure that you are safely secured to your seat and assist you with the headphones for live commentary. The helicopter flight duration is approximately 24-minutes. You will fly over the Cape Peninsula, along Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. See spectacular views of the Atlantic Seaboard white beaches unfold as you fly along Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno and, in season you might spot some whales. Fly inland over Cape Town’s southern suburbs en route to False Bay. Marvel at the views of Fish Hoek beach as well as Muizenberg beach with its colourful beach cabanas. Our return flight takes you along the Southern Seaboard, flying over the City Bowl area before landing back at the V&A Waterfront Helipad.
After your helicopter tour, meet your guide back at the entrance and proceed to Stellenbosch for wine tasting at DeMorgenzon wine estate. DeMorgenzon believes that music can influence the growth of a vine and the fruit it bears and they have played Baroque, and early Classical, music to their growing vines in the vineyard, in the winery and in the cellar all day, and every day, since 2009. Here you will sample their award-winning wines including DMZ Chardonnay that won the best in world award.
The tour continues with a stop at the Jewel of the Cape Winelands which is the Delaire Graff Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. Delaire is one of the most exclusive wine estates in Stellenbosch famous for good food, good wine and superb views. Here you will enjoy your second wine tasting followed by a set menu 4-course lunch in either the Delaire Graff Restaurant or Indochine Restaurant, depending on availability. Kindly note that only food is included in the lunch. Drinks and gratuities are for your own account.
The tour culminates with a stop at Lanzerac wine estate for Chocolate and Wine pairing. Lanzerac is home to the world's first bottled Pinotage. Sample their award-winning wines paired with carefully selected chocolates in a relaxed atmosphere whilst surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch valley.
From the Delaire Graff we will make our way back to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation. The travelling time is approximately 1-hour depending on traffic.
