Experience the art of tortilla making from scratch and discover the secrets behind salsas and guacamole. After cooking, enjoy the fruits of your labor paired with refreshing local drinks.
This intimate class, limited to 2-8 participants, offers a personalized culinary adventure that brings the heart of Mexican cuisine to your table.
Available daily at 11:00 A.M. or 5:30 P.M., except Sundays.
Suitable for all skill levels, with accommodations for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets.

Izzy and his team did a great job once again (this is our 3rd time, which tells you everything you need to know). Excellent instruction and history, practical application and then there's the Margaritas! Such a fun day!
We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Issi Radilla. We visited a couple local markets and enjoyed picking out the ingredients for our meal. We made tamales and birria. Along with authentic margaritas, guacamole, salsa verde and pico de gaio. It was such a terrific way to spend time in Cabo San Lucas.
My wife and I were thrilled to have signed up for this class! Alma and Mari took the best care of us, giving us history of the Playa Del Carmen area, the food and so much more. This was truly a hand on experience from feeling the different types of Masa and understanding the pros and cons of each when it comes to making tortilla dough, making the dough, pressing and frying the tortillas, preparing and grinding tantalizing salsas in a molcajete, guacamole (aka - a thick sauce) with a hint of habanero, cilantro rice, and delicious chicken poblano enchiladas! Every step was thoughtfully explained, guided, and then tasked for us to complete. It was such an amazing experience, we felt like we were fast friends as she welcomed us into her home. Alma was such a fantastic host! Mal de Puerco! We highly highly recommend this experience and can’t wait to brings her lessons home and make some authentic Mexican cuisine at home!
