Traveler reviews
Buyer beware.
ATVs weren’t maintained well. My ride leaked exhaust which was hot on my leg. Fender was held on with wire. My candle scraped the front wheel several times. Guy told us we would get dirty, sold us shirts and bandannas. Absolutely not necessary. We drove up a road, turned around, drove halfway back, turned around again and eventually went back.
They try to sell you many...
They try to sell you many things you don’t need, such as water shoes, bug spray, a private experience. The atv excursion was a big disappointment. You basically ride up and down the same road 2or 3 times with power lines, other than a real jungle experience.
Does not meet expectations if you’ve done these activities before.
Comparing to other similar activities that we done in other places this activity did not meet the expectations. Zip lines were too short, no view and basically just a stage for a photo shoot. The ATV “ guided tour” was a tour to no-where and to see nothing but puddles and power lines. The cenote was a good experience. Thins feedback has nothing to do with the staff, I’m speaking only of the activity “experience”. We were also eaten by mosquitos so bring bug spray or pay $10 US in the store for a small spray bottle. Also, wear old clothes b/c the grease from the zip lines wrecked all our t-shirts. Our guide Julio was helpful and very nice however, group control was non existent and we wondered around quite a bit trying to figure out where we needed to be. The staff would answer and point but they were not very engaged other than to do their job. The driver had a recording going into the park asking for tips from 5 different voices on the same recording which was over-kill in our group. We understand they work for tips HOWEVER, tips are meant when you receive good service it is not suppose to be to get good service. We did leave the driver a tip on both directions. My muddy Hoka sneakers were accidentally left behind in the restaurant. It wasn’t until 15 minutes away that I realized it. Sent Viator a message right away asking if they could reach out to the park to locate them and see if they could be delivered the next day to our hotel and they are in our area daily. They reached out to the park but unfortunately nobody turned them in so someone took them. I know it’s my fault but that was not cool on the park staffs behalf. So, be sure to grab all your gear or its finders keepers - you won’t get it back! Overall, we had a fun day just an expensive one!!
Great expirence, hard upsale less so..
It was great expirence, well run with engaging staff. Each activity was thrilling and exciting. The cost was reasonable, however, once onsite the upsell was terrible. From the ‘wild’ package, two upgraded packages are available. Other than another go on the zip line, the main value proposition focused on unlimited food or drink and visiting a private cenote. Oddly, there was minimal time for food or drink and the default two taco offering was of very poor quality. The cenote we visited was not crowded at all and very enjoyable. In all, say NO to the upsell. The expirence is great as is.
Even better then expected!
Incredible experience! Better than expected. If you're looking for a quick adventure then this is for you. Don't get roped into any package offered at your hotel or the GOLD or VIP packages offered at the adventure site, stick with this Standard package. You won't find better value than this. It was smooth from start to finish. From the shuttle driver arriving right on time, to us being busy with Zipline, ATV and cliff jumping and tequila tasting, there wasn't ever a dull moment. Each of us ended the tour with two complimentary tacos. The staff was amazing, and the customer service was very responsive. It was very evident when I called the customer service line because I had left my phone in the shuttle and the driver drove back to our hotel to return it.
