Itinerary
Legendary venue directly in front of the meeting point, learn of the heritage and all of the amazing performances in this space. You are entering the Heart of Camden!
Your walking tour route takes in a former poet’s garret, inspiration for Patti Smith, Jim Morrison and others; fabulous street art; a place to indulge in vinyl records; several former and few current live music venues.
This was formerly The Laurel Tree where Coldplay played their first ever gig, and said to be where ‘Brit Pop’ began, where many 90s bands played live.
More amazing venues, more Amy Winehouse street art trail, at least 2 legendary pubs to call into, where Oasis, Amy, Madness, Robert Plant and many other musicians have hung out and played live. Both pubs featured in the Amy film Back to Black.
Electric Ballroom, quirky shops, early Annie Lennox/Dave Stewart landmarks, Bob Dylan photo/video shoot locations, more live music venues, a dedication to Prince.
Stables Market offers major Clash landmarks including an album cover shot; where Paul Weller, Dave Grohl, Harry Styles, Wolf Alice and more shop; The Cure photo location; the Amy Winehouse statue and a variety of market stalls.
One of the places for punk in London! Sex Pistols, Clash, Blondie, Ramones, Stranglers and more. One time hang out for Charlie Watts, Dave Gilmour, George Melly, David Hockney. Also landmark gigs for Coldplay & Blur, more recent live gigs include Noel Gallagher, Foo Fighters...
The Roundhouse, The Monarch, Marathon Grill, The Enterprise, Joe’s Pub, The Lock; two recording studios, more street art, MTV Europe, where Eurythmics recorded much of their Sweet Dreams album…restaurants known to Harry Styles and others.
Call into Amy Winehouse’s former local pub, where many live gigs have occurred.

Traveler reviews
An Epic Rock n' Roll Odyssey
We booked a private, custom 3-day coach trip from Birmingham, down through the Cotswolds, Reading and into London, and it was absolutely beyond amazing. I can only describe it as an Epic Odyssey. My husband and I are rock n' roll nerds and we had a long list of must-do's that included Led Zep, Beatles, Black Sabbath (and many more) points of interest. Our guide, Ian "Lucky" Luck and our driver Cristian, were fantastic. We had such a ball. We saw everything we wanted to and more. We had full days with many stops, a few coffee breaks and a couple village crawls. All perfection. A shout-out to Kate Carrigan for helping us design the tour around our interests. We could not have had a better time.
Awesome rock tour of London
Steve and Neil were great! I highly recommend this tour. Steve was very knowledgeable about the rock ‘n’ roll tour. Enjoyed spending time and seeing the sites of London and also learning about rock musicians.
Good tour of Rock sites in London
Steve provided lots of good information about all rock stars from London. Best part was getting picture taken at the crosswalk on Abbey Road! Seemed a little disorganized at times probably made more difficult for a coach by the London traffic.
