Itinerary
Starts At 8:00 am Pickup from your hotel in Cairo by our expert tour guide then you will be transferred to Giza City by Private A/C Vehicle to Start your day Tour Visiting Giza Pyramids where you see the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is the Valley Temple where the dead body was mummified it`s also the same place where you can get a close-up look at the Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. The pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are among the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and indeed already were even in Roman times. Each of these spectacular structures served as the final resting place of a king of the 4th Dynasty (c.2613–2494 BC). The Great Pyramid of Giza was built for king Khufu (c.2589–2566 BC), and the other two for Khafre and Menkaure, his son and grandson.
then The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.
The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin of a later period at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many buildings of Khufu are lost. Everything known about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For example, Khufu is the main character noted in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860. Others were found during successive excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, Reisner,
Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
Then visit The Citadel Of Saladin where you visit Mohamed Ali Mosque that knows as The Alabaster Mosque
End your day tour by a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques etc. At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to your hotel. there is possibility of entering any of the pyramids from inside ,visiting solar boat of king cheops ,riding camel around of giza pyramids or ridding the quad bike at the wide desert or Felucca boat ride sailing on the Nile but all those activties can be added on in the middle of the booking process as it requires additional fees

Traveler reviews
Enjoyable tour catered to our preferences.
My wife and I were here in summer so we didn’t want to do too much walking in the sun. For this reason we skipped the camel 9 pyramid photo op. We also skipped the bazaar because my wife isn’t big on hard sell and crowds. But our guide, driver and car were great and I’d recommend their service.
Thanks for a great trip!
My first time in Egypt was very good! I'm glad we used this tour for Giza. It is very difficult to choose our own transport in Egypt, and this tour was very good because we could leave our large luggage in the car and go sightseeing without it. The explanations were very good and easy to understand. You can have Egyptian food for lunch. Very tasty. I am very glad we booked this tour. To Sayed Mahmoud: Thank you very much for a very enjoyable day!
GREAT TOUR, GREAT COMPANY
We absolutely loved our two days with Emu tours. We had Tonsi look after us along with a great driver on day one. He took us to see the pyramids of Giza and the sphinx. He also took us to an incredible perfume shop and was so incredibly knowledgeable. We couldnt recommend him highly enough! He also organised our driver for the second day we were in Giza straight away and planned everything for us. No question! Yoseff was our driver day two and he was also sensational. He took us to saqqara, Memphis and the red pyramid. When we asked if he could take us somewhere nice for lunch, he took us to the most beautiful traditional Egyptian restaurant. Not only that but he organised it all so that he would take us to the airport after we were done to catch our flight out. Thank you Tonsi, Yoseff and emu tours for making our Cairo experience one to remember.
The Best Pyramids/Cairo Experience
We had a wonderful time with our tour guide and driver. We were concerned about coming on our trip and not being able to enjoy the pyramids. It was very clear that our guide Ahmed Essam not only has been doing these tours for a while, but that almost everyone that works in and around the pyramids know him. We felt incredibly safe, and we were never haggled or harassed. & this was in and around the pyramids. As soon as he caught anyone getting near us, he cut them off very quickly. We greatly appreciated him. We just wanted to learn about the pyramids and enjoy our opportunity to be there. He helped us grab falafel, as requested. He helped us negotiate with vendors for better prices. & we rode camels! We specified which souvenirs we were looking for and he helped us find them. He did offer additional activities (papyrus paper and something else), we nicely told him no thank you and he did not bother us. Also greatly appreciated. Thank you Ahmed. We know you truly made our experience that day, and we will never forget it.
Fantastic family tour of Cairo. The best I've ever been on.
We had a wonderful day touring Cairo. We were picked up right on time at our hotel by our guide Ahmed and "the world's best driver" Mr. Hamdy. It was just my family of 5 and the guys and we had a terrific time driving around exploring the city. The fellas had a great sense of humour so we had a lot of laughs and they made the day fun. Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable and obviously very proud of his country. I usually do stuff myself but in this case I would highly recommend booking a tour. They just made everything so easy. I packed quite a bit into the day (we also did the falacca and the camel ride) so Ahmed was very good about tailoring his approach to our family which included 3 teenagers LOL. I will forever be grateful for them making it it such a special day.
