Itinerary
Pass by: Starting from our office, we’ll stroll down Defensa Street, where you’ll encounter bustling antique markets, striking architecture, and charming cobblestone streets. As we explore, you’ll admire the neighborhood's historic buildings, iconic "faroles" streetlights, and period-style decorations that transport you back in time, making this a truly unforgettable experience.
Pass by: We’ll continue to Lezama Park, a peaceful green space with tree-lined avenues and a charming amphitheater. Afterward, a short walk will bring us to Puerto Madero, a modern neighborhood of skyscrapers, upscale restaurants, and luxury hotels. Here, we’ll cross the dock and stroll along the waterfront, passing the iconic Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge), designed by Santiago Calatrava to symbolize a tango dance.
Pass by: Crossing the bridge, we’ll reach Plaza de Mayo, where you’ll see the Metropolitan Cathedral, the colonial Cabildo, and the Casa Rosada (Pink House). Your guide will share the rich history and events that shaped this historic square.
Pass by: Crossing the square, we’ll head down Diagonal Norte, a key avenue linking the Judicial Power (Supreme Court) with the Executive Power (Casa Rosada). Our walk will bring us to the iconic Obelisco de Buenos Aires, located in the heart of Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world.
We’ll cross Avenida 9 de Julio and continue for two blocks to reach the renowned Colón Theater, one of the world’s top five opera houses, known for its size, acoustics, and rich history. For those who selected the Colón Theater option, the tour will end with an exclusive guided visit inside. You’ll explore the Auditorium, Main Foyer, Busts Gallery, and Golden Hall, where you can admire stunning architectural details, sculptures, and stained glass. After the 50-minute tour, we’ll conclude at the theater’s entrance.
For those who opted to visit the MALBA, we’ll board a bus to the Palermo neighborhood, home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires. Founded in 2001, the museum focuses on collecting, preserving, and showcasing Latin American art from the early 20th century to the present. With around 400 works from leading modern and contemporary artists, the tour will conclude with your entrance to the museum, where you can explore the exhibits at your own pace.
Pass by: You can also choose the tour which includes a visit to both (the Teatro Colón and the MALBA). In this case you will have a guided tour around the Teatro, then head to the MALBA where entrance ticket is provided. The tour will then come to an end, and the guide will leave you to explore the museum on your own.

Traveler reviews
Excellent
We loved the walk. The guide Cassandra was great, explained everything with a lot of sympathy. Our favorites were the visit to Mafalda's house and the Colon theatre. We recommend.
Good overall historical tour
This was a great walk around a couple important historical neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The guide, Silvia, was well informed and prepared to share her culture and history with us. Having the theatre tour attached was convenient so we didn’t have to keep track of separate tickets.
Excellent experience!
The guide Casandra was incredible and attentive, we left the tour culturally forgotten and didn't even see the hours pass. We tour the main points of the city knowing historical curiosities and we finish the experience in Malba, unforgettable!
All right.
Casandra very friendly and explaining everything very well. I would recommend it for another tour. He didn't guide at all times. Young but experienced
Friend Trip
Sylvia was amazing in every way. She walked in the rain with our group to make our excursion enjoyable.
