Itinerary
Visit the largest Buddhist temple in Latin American installed in an area amidst greenery and surrounded by beautiful gardens with flowers, as well as preserved remnants of the Atlantic Forest with a small Japanese-style bridge. The typical architecture of an Oriental Temple is a separate chapter making us feel as if we were in Asia. In addition, there are sculptures scattered everywhere, a museum, shop, and a vegetarian restaurant.
Following your visit to Zu Lai temple, visit the nearby charming town of Embu das Artes. It’s one of those inspiring and inland cities that travelers often visit when they want to see a different scenario fleeing from the rush of the big city. It's most famous for its Crafts Fair, which takes place in the city's Historic Center, the fair has more than 700 exhibitors of different types of handicrafts such as ceramics, paintings, sculptures, handmade foods, and even clothes and jewelry. There are beautiful objects carved in wood and rustic furniture. It’s lined up in the main square and radiating streets lots of cozy cafés and a myriad of eateries where you can dine on lunch and sample delicious Brazilian typical dishes and desserts. You can also enjoy the ever-popular cachaça, the so-called refreshing açaí, local yogurt, and other things. (not included in the tour price)

Fun, Enlightening, Easygoing
Marinelio was my wonderful guide on this easygoing 6 hour tour.Attentive, very informative and engaging, we toured the tranquil and beautiful Buddhist Temple and grounds and enjoyed the exciting creations of local artisans at Embu das Artes, for which there were no admission fees. Marinelio joyfully shared his knowledge of São Paulo and the surrounding areas as we travelled. It was a perfect day.

We lived unforgettable moments with my family and also learned from Buddhist culture.
The place is magical, you feel the energy, peace and tranquility that emits the place, the landscape is beautiful, I am delighted😍 The temple has a cafeteria with variety of cafes and etc. There is also a shop selling Buddhas, incense and other things related to the Buddhist temple. It has parking space. I am struck by the desires and desires that you can capture them on paper and hang them on a tree. One hundred percent recommended place
