Absence of host company

The experience was very good but you had no involvement in it at all. Apart from collecting tickets at the start we never saw anybody from your company again.

Disappointing afternoon tea

Very disappointing afternoon tea at Browns Victoria bought as part of this package from Golden Tours. The deal included a visit to Buckingham Palace which was great but afternoon tea was so poor....3 of the tiniest finger sandwiches with cheap fillings, a miniature brioche roll with shrimp(?) sauce but couldn't see any shrimp & 2 baby scones ....no cakes or pastries at all. When I contacted Browns about this, they basically said they deliver a cheap version of afternoon tea when bought as a package & you won't get the same standard items e.g. don't expect cake! You have been warned 😉

The Buckingham Palace...

The Buckingham Palace tour was fantastic but not sure what purchasing through Viator did for us, other than ensuring entry during the busy tourist season. If you personally book far enough in advance, you can really do it yourself. The Tea Bus, while giving a nice road tour of London, could use improving. While the driver and attendants were great, there was no audio as to what we were seeing, or they forgot to turn it on. The Windows on the bus were dirty, so that was a little offputting as well.

Wonderful experience

The visit is very inspiring. I loved the art. It is an amazing place to be. The Buckingham Park and Lake are also unforgettable

Buckingham palace tour and afternoon tea

Met by representative on time. Excellent tour of Buckingham Palace. You get personal audio included which explains everything you need to know as you move from room to room. Spent around an hour on the tour. Then afternoon tea at nearby Brown's. Far too much food but very yummy. We couldn't eat it all.
