Hidden foodie gems of Bruges.

Martin was an excellent host and took us on some of the hidden food gems in Bruges, but also provided nice history and Belgium’s relationship with Fries, Beer, chocolate, and the waffles. I recommend the waffle (at his place only) with vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and caramel. My wife and I were unable to get the same waffle experience in Brussels, lol. This is a gratuity based tour and he kept it at 90 minutes which is in line with my attention span. We were happy to contribute $20 each, but I’m sure he would be happy with more:). The samples were all delicious. Excellent intro into the city!

A Taste of Bruges!

A great way to taste a few of Bruges favorite delights! We really enjoyed the way Patrick explained the history behind the waffles and chocolate. Patrick was engaging, responsive, and a delight to spend a couple of hours with. Highly recommend if you have a couple of hours and are ready to taste some of Bruges finest.

Great tour with waffles, chocolate, fries, and beer

Really great tour, actually no costs, just tips. It was not easy for our guide Patrick to keep the large group of 20 people together. Nevertheless, he succeeded. At first, we thought there was only one sample each, but all in all, we were somewhat full. Of course, it is not a complete menu, but absolutely great and sufficient for such a tour. We gave €20 in tips per person, which Patrick more than deserved (we could not assess what was appropriate). Thank you, Patrick!
