Itinerary
You will be met at the Sforza Castle where your guide will tell you something of Milan’s history. You will visit the courtyard where many famous artists once past the time of day. This is the perfect tour for lovers of art – unforgettable!!
Your tour guide for this marvellous experience is an expert in the history of art. You will be conducted through the thirty-eight rooms of the Pinacoteca di Brera, where the numerous masterpieces are displayed. Your guide will explain something about the paintings and their artists. You will be mesmerized by Modigliani’s “Enfant Gras” – a painting of a boy with an extraordinarily long neck. Learn about the artistic technique used in Raphael’s “The Marriage of Figaro” with its evolutional use of mathematic relations to create perspective – a geometric canvas where the resultant harmony could only have been created by an artistic genius. You will have the opportunity for a close up view of Francesco Hayez’s “Kiss” and learn that this is not surprisingly about romance but was created as a young nation’s symbol of love for the motherland and thirst for life; a nation that emerged following the Second War of Independence and placed so much hope for its future on the shoulders of its new rulers. Only in the company of an expert guide with a passion for art can you yourself begin to fully appreciate these masterpieces. We are sure you will love this wonderful Gallery Tour. After the Gallery you will then have the opportunity for a stroll through the Brera district; narrow alleyways with antique shops, boutiques and balconies awash with flowers. This district, one of the most charming in Milan, is also known as “the Milanese Montmartre”; an area with a real bohemian feel frequented by Milan’s artists of today.

Traveler reviews
agent never showed
Agent never showed, they waited until we were here and then canceled, no warning. very frustrating fornus
The guide was a no-show
I had a 2:30pm tour scheduled and confirmed. Even the day of, it showed in my Viator app. I arrived 45 minutes early at the meeting spot. My husband and I took turns walking back and forth, looking for the guide at the assigned location. No one ever showed up. I called the number but got a machine. I sent a message asking where the guide was and got an email within 10 minutes refunding my money - no apology, no explanation. While I certainly appreciate the refund - which I would have expected anyway - I wasted a lot of time that I could have spent elsewhere. I am not sure who Viator outsourced this tour to, but whoever it was provides very poor customer service.
Visit to the Pinaciteca Brera
Excellent Very good explanation from the guide We really liked that they highlighted the main paintings since the art gallery is very large.
Last Supper with private guide, Berra Pinocoteca, Sforza con Rondanini, Michelangelo tutti con una guida, Como
Everything was great. Booking was easily accomplished and payment easy. The same tour guide was with us for the entire time. She was very attentive to our questions, extremely knowledgeable about the places visit as well as the associated art and history. Absolutely pleasant to be in her company. I would not hesitate to use Tours of Milan again
The tour of the gallery was amazing
Paiva was our guide. Her knowledge was very deep and her love of all things Milan and all things art was astounding. Her enthusiasm made everything come alive for us. I would strongly recommend her and the agency. We booked thru Viator before leaving home and are glad we did.
