Traveler reviews
Friendly Fun!
Six of us joined our expert guide Tony for a trip around the old pubs of Boston. Tony’s history knowledge was excellent adding to the experience. Loved the cosy atmosphere in Durty Nelly’s, could have stayed there all night. Other guests were so friendly & great fun. Overall I would recommend this tour & the crime tour too.
A Must in Boston
Lots of history, great personality, friendly , good choice of Pubs. Highly recommend
Fun and Friends
We had a great time. Tony was full of information and made the time very enjoyable.
Great pub tour with Tony
Tony, an excellent guide not only for this tour (he also does North End and Crime), talks about history in general and about the brewing craft of Boston in particular. During the 2-hour tour, the group stops at 3 taverns, and you can - but do not have to - try draft beers. At the Sam Adams Taproom, for example, there is the option to order a flight of 4 beers. There is also finger food available everywhere. The route is very clear. We had a lot of fun, also because the other participants were quite pleasant.
You wont be disappointed
Was awesome! Andy was great. Told stories gave history offered food/drink suggestions. Would easily do it again.
