Itinerary
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace is home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Set in over 2,000 acres of beautiful Parkland landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown, the exquisite 18th century Baroque Palace is surrounded by sweeping lawns, formal gardens and the magnificent lake. Boasting over 300 years of history and heritage, Britain’s Greatest Palace is a unique example of English Baroque architecture. Inside, the scale of the Palace is beautifully balanced by the intricate detail and delicacy of the carvings, the hand painted ceilings and the amazing porcelain collections, tapestries and paintings displayed in each room. It houses some of the finest antique collections in Europe.

Traveler reviews
Super history tour
The pass you buy on here allows one day access to the Palace and Gardens and car parking. You are given a receipt on showing your voucher qr. Keep the receipt handy its required at certain points. Blenheim is beautiful but it is a very full day especially with doing the walks. If you are going to do the whole thing in a day this ticket is fine purchased off here. If you know you want to visit a few times during the year then this ticket costs same for one day as buying direct off Blenheim that allows multiple visits.
Loads of history and scenic views
Absolutely loved this experience but allocate 4-6 hrs to do it all, lots of walking, inside and out with wonderful views. The history is all around you - do inside 1st!
A Grand Palace Tour
There is a lot of walking and open space but what a space to wander! It takes a bit to get to the palace but it is the only way to see most of it. As you get closer it soon dwarfs you and the reality of how large a place this is begins to dawn upon you! It’s a wonderful tour through the palace and the gardens are a delight! And the gift shop is great having items relating to the site and the smaller statues of the greater ones is a wonderful idea!
Get ticket ahead
