Great fun for the family that offered food value and a different experience.
Great experience. I have been visiting Dingle for many years, this is one of the best things we have done. We even got to see a whale and some other sea life.
What an experience
What a trip on Blasket Island Sea Life Tour’s from Dingle Co Kerry along the cost on to the Blasket Islands and back across the wonderful Dingle Bay. Captain David knows the area so well, not just the history and scenery but where to find all the wildlife, we saw Gannets, Cormorants, Seals, Razorbill, Common Dolphins and beautiful Minke whales. What a trip, what an experience.
Don’t Leave Dingle without Getting out in the Water!
Fantastic trip out to the islands. Our trip to Dingle would not have been complete without this very interesting tour of the history, flora and fauna that we were able to experience. We were warm and comfortable in August, the equipment they provided would have kept us warm even on the cold days. I loved seeing the puffins, fledgling seagulls, the minke whale and dolphin and seals. The island’s history and beauty remarkable. Highly recommend.
Well worth it
We joined Nathan on the La Nua and it was a fantastic few hours. Nathan was very informed with lots of history and geography of the local area. Amazing scenery and wildlife including dolphins, seals and whales as well as a look at the majestic native deer. Staff in the office were friendly, helpful and organised. All round a great experience
Best experience of our holiday!
The best! David took us out for longer than scheduled, and we saw so much! He talked about the history, geology, marine life… The tour felt intimate. There were only the three of us in the front, Captain David in the middle, and maybe 8-10 people in the back. The boat goes fast, and the seats are a saddle style, so it was a bit of a thrill ride, which we weren’t expecting- but we loved! We were laughing and having so much fun! My mom who cannot walk well and has had knee and hip replacements was with us, and she enjoyed the thrilling ride as well! We saw jellyfish in a cove, then seals on and around the island. We saw puffins on August 7, even though many people told us they’d be gone by now. On the way back to Dingle, David spotted either dolphins or whales, and it turned out to be both! We stayed there for an extended time to watch a family of four minke whales and a pod of dolphins feeding. Such a great experience, and so glad we found a small, family owned tour to support!
