Biester Palace and Park

1 hour

Full description

The Biester Palace was built by Portuguese architect José Luís Monteiro in the last decades of the 19th century, bringing together great historical and artistic influences. It fits perfectly into the romantic world of Sintra in which it is located, and at the same time stands out for its great modernity for the time in which it was built. Its most striking features include paintings by Luigi Manini, carving work by Leandro de Souza Braga, and stuccoes by Domingos Meira. Rooms such as the Living Room, Master Bedroom, and many more contain unique details that remain perfect despite the vast years that have passed. Its conservation allows visitors to be transported into the past and relive the decades that are so speculated. The Park, besides the countless rare species and unique charm, has attractions such as the Pena Cave, the Picnic Park, and the unique Bordallo Pinheiro Walk. Don't miss this opportunity to relive the 19th century in an emerging and captivating visit!

We had the tour today with Olga E. Review for Olga E – Guide at Sagrada Família We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Olga E for an absolutely unforgettable guided tour inside the Sagrada Família. Our group — Dugi, Nataliia, Chidim, and Jane — was truly impressed by the way Olga brought Gaudí’s world to life. Her storytelling was incredibly detailed, poetic, and perfectly in harmony with the spirit of Gaudí himself. Every symbol, every line, every play of light suddenly made sense through her words. This was not just a tour, but a journey into art, architecture, faith, and imagination. Olga has a rare talent for explaining complex ideas in a clear, elegant, and deeply engaging way. Time flew by, and we were fully immersed from the first minute to the last. Thank you, Olga, for such a beautiful, inspiring, and memorable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to truly feel the Sagrada Família, not just see it.
