Walk the Streets of the Second-Oldest Capital in the Western Hemisphere
Your Old San Juan walking tour starts in the heart of the city’s historic district, where your guide will lead you through cobblestone streets past rainbow-hued colonial buildings, and charming plazas. As you walk, your guide will introduce you to San Juan’s earliest people, the Indigenous Taíno, and the island’s transformation under Spanish colonization.
Color, Culture, and History Around Every Corner
Along the way, discover landmarks like the San Francisco de Asis Monastery and its quiet crypt, the buzzing Plaza de Armas, and the second-oldest cathedral in the Americas. You’ll pass through Puerta de San Juan, once the guarded entrance into this coastal stronghold, and stop outside the peculiar La Casa Estrecha.
Enter El Morro, Puerto Rico’s Most Iconic Fortress
Finally, you’ll end at Castillo San Felipe del Morro—El Morro for short. You’ll slip inside using a dedicated group entrance with your guide and enjoy a tour of the barracks, battlements, and breathtaking sea views while learning about the island’s role in global trade, conflict, and defense. When the tour wraps, you can linger on the fort’s breezy lawn, locals love to fly kites here, or keep discovering on your own with fresh perspective.
Kindly note that from the 1st of August 2026, the Castle El Morro will be self-guided. Your guide will provide your admission ticket before your visit, but there is no guided tour, skip-the-line access, or special access inside the castle.

Reviews
If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone. As an added bonus, our group had only four people, which made the experience absolutely incredible and much more personal. Thanks again, Daniel! 😉
