Just us in Austin for a Day

Not a lot of opportunities for pictures from the van, but great educational experience about Austin. Joel is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, a bit funny too!

Awesome Time!

We took the Austin Detours trip to San Antonio and the San José Mission, and it was fantastic. Our guide, Trace, made the entire experience unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. You could tell he loves what he does, and the tour absolutely would not have been the same without him. If you’re looking for a well‑run, insightful, and enjoyable tour, Austin Detours is the way to go — especially with Trace leading the way.

We like Ike.

Be happy if your tour guide is Ike. We really enjoyed his narrative. We learned a lot of history and also current activities. He was funny, entertaining, and informative. The coach was very comfortable. Two hours flew by. We were most satisfied and are thrilled to reccomend this experience to others.
