ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS TOUR!

My daughter in law found Eamon after extensive research for our family " heritage" trip to Ireland at the beginning of August. To say he was amazing is not even the tip of the iceberg! He became part of the family, also digging up, literally, additional information my daughter in law has given him about my husband's ancestors, and went so way beyond what we could have expected.. from a stop at CRUM castle, taking us to the MICHAEL MALLIN mural in Dublin, to actually finding not only ;a grave site for a great great great uncle, but the actual homestead where , with 99.9% certainty, they lived! On the way home he even stopped to show my grandchildren " hurling". a sport he played. I cannot recommend him enough!!

An Unforgettable Day with a True Dubliner!

If you're looking for an authentic Dublin experience, stop searching and book this tour with Éamon. We've been fortunate enough to take private tours all over the world, and this was easily one of the best we've ever had! Unfortunately, our cruise ship was delayed getting the tenders ashore, but Éamon stayed in constant communication with us the entire time. His communication was outstanding and immediately put us at ease. When we finally arrived, he was waiting exactly where the tenders drop you off, ready to welcome us like old friends. And what a welcome it was! As only a true Dubliner could, Éamon greeted us with shots of Coole Swan, a delicious Irish cream liqueur that we actually liked even better than Baileys. It was the perfect way to kick off an amazing day. Throughout the tour, Éamon continued to surprise us with thoughtful touches. He even brought along a selection of local Irish treats, candies, and crisps (chips) for us to sample along the way. It was such a fun way to experience flavors we never would have thought to try on our own and made the tour feel even more personal. One of the things we loved most about this tour was that it wasn't just about seeing Dublin. It was about hearing the stories behind it. I had no idea how influential the Guinness family was in Ireland. I thought Guinness was simply a famous beer! Éamon brought us to a former Guinness family residence, now home to Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and shared fascinating stories that brought the city's history to life. While we were there, he surprised us with a tasting of authentic Irish whiskey by the van, just another one of the many thoughtful touches that made the day so memorable. We continued past the iconic Guinness Storehouse for some great photo opportunities before heading to the Teeling Whiskey Distillery for another tasting. Don't leave without trying the frozen Irish coffee, it was absolutely delicious! Next, we visited the beautiful Church of Saints Augustine and John the Baptist, where the stunning stained-glass windows were breathtaking. As we left, Éamon casually waved us across the street to Tom Kennedy's, a true neighborhood pub that we never would have found on our own. This ended up being one of the highlights of the day. Our son was given the opportunity to pour his very first pint of Guinness! The staff made it such a fun experience, and Éamon even presented him with a certificate commemorating his first perfect pour. It's a memory he'll treasure forever. We stayed for lunch, enjoying pints, toasties, and the warm atmosphere of a genuine Irish local pub. After lunch, Éamon dropped us off in the famous Temple Bar district. The guys enjoyed live Irish music and pints at The Oliver St. John Gogarty, while the ladies made a quick stop at Louis Vuitton to have our passports stamped, a perfect mix of sightseeing and fun! Before taking us back to the port to catch our tender, Éamon asked for my mom's address because he wanted to send her a postcard from Dublin. We haven't received it yet, but knowing Éamon, I'm sure it's on the way. That simple gesture perfectly reflects the kind of person he is, thoughtful, generous, and genuinely invested in making your day special. Thank you, Éamon, for giving our family memories we'll never forget, especially our son. We laughed, learned, sampled incredible Irish treats, toasted with whiskey, poured the perfect pint of Guinness, enjoyed fantastic music, and experienced the real Dublin because of you. If you're looking for a tour that feels less like sightseeing and more like spending the day with a local friend who genuinely loves his city, this is it. We laughed all day, learned a lot, ate and drank well, and saw parts of Dublin we never would have found on our own.

Wonderful Dublin cultural Tour!

We had such a blast seeing all of Dublin and hearing all the history of Dublin and Ireland from Eamonn. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone on the tour has a great time. One of the highlights was visiting a real pub that Dubliners go to, not a touristy one, and having a most delicious bowl of Irish Stew and a pint of Guinness. Ireland was a bucket list stop for my 80 year old father in law and Eamonn delivered on showing him all of the city and giving him a feel of the culture and tailored the tours to match his abilities. His knowledge of history is unmatched as we learned so much about Dublin and Irish history. Do not hesitate to do this tour if you want an authentic experience.
