Do I need to specify a date of travel?

Yes –we’ll ask you to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to guarantee your seat. If your ticket includes extras, you may also need to book additional dates & times for all elements of your ticket after your purchase is complete. See your booking confirmation email for instructions.

How do I redeem my ticket?

What is the child policy?

A child ticket is available for children between the ages of 5 - 15. Children under 5 may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Are the buses wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Our buses are wheelchair accessible, with ramps enabling access to all vehicles within the fleet. There is space for one wheelchair per bus (unless the second customer is able to transfer to a fixed seat, in which case a second wheelchair can be accommodated in a fixed position). We do have some restrictions in place due to weight and stability, and advise that we do not carry mobility scooters. We also may not be able to accommodate larger wheelchairs for the same reason. The maximum weight allowed on the ramp is 300kg, which is the weight of the wheelchair when occupied. The wheelchair also cannot exceed the width of the designated wheelchair seating area. To avoid any disappointment, we would be happy to confirm in advance whether the wheelchair can be accommodated on board, and would ask you to send an email to infoberlin@bigbustours.com including a photograph of the wheelchair, as well as an indication of the width and weight of the chair. What can I see & visit?

The Red Route showcases the highlights of Berlin, including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie and so much more. On the Blue Route you see more of Berlin's trendy eastern districts including the famous East Side Gallery. There are 20 stops in total where you can hop on and off your tour, as many times as you wish. Each stop has been selected because it provides convenient access to an attraction or place of interest. And of course you're welcome to stay on board for the entire tour loop and let us take you for a scenic spin. River Cruise

Discover a different view of Berlin on a cruise on the river Spree!   This ticket includes admission to a one-hour "City-Spreefahrt" Cruise with our partner BWSG. Cruises depart at the BWSG "Alte Börse" stop, located at Burgstrasse 27, near the Museumsinsel bus stop.  Please redeem/exchange your ticket with BWSG staff before boarding the boat. You can find the boat departure point on our printed map or through the Big Bus App.

Question 9

How do I book my slot for the TV Tower?

Accepted Answer

When making your booking, use the calendar to choose the time slot and date you want for your TV Tower experience. You will then need to book a date for your bus ticket, or you can do this with a member of the Big Bus team in city.

To redeem your TV Tower ticket, simply present your ticket at the booked time to be scanned.

Day Tour Departure Times

First tour of the day departs at 9:50 am from Stop 1 at Alexanderplatz 3 – 5, and buses will come every 20 – 30 minutes until 4.50 pm depending on the of time of year. Other popular stops to start the tour include Stop 4 at Brandenburg Gate and Stop 15 at Checkpoint Charlie however you can redeem your ticket at any of the over 16 Big Bus stops.
