Traveler reviews
Great History Lesson on the Civil War
We enjoyed our tour and guide Jason was very thorough and knowledgeable!
Great experience not far from Nashville
The Belle Meade Mansion was super easy to get to from Nashville, I didn’t have a car so I caught the #3 B bus and the stop is just outside the main entrance (make sure you get off at the correct stop as the same stop name for a few stops beforehand and there is no path for walk alongside the main road) which then gave me a chance to walk through some of the grounds and look at the exhibits before the actual tour. The tour of the mansion itself is as very informative and enjoyable to learn the history of the family and mansion. The wine tasting gave a sample of 3 wines, you can purchase more and there was a guitarist in the garden singing which was lovely on the Sunday afternoon I was there.
Holding ground at Belle Meade
Beatifully preserved buildings and grounds at Belle Meade. Our tour guide Jason, provided a great review of Civil war history. There are several different tour options, and sample wine tasting at the end of each tour.
If you love history--you will love Belle Meade!
Beautiful grounds and home. Wonderful staff. Loved it!
Check out all the amenities
Check out coop and scoop and enjoy some wine as well. Meat and three did not disappoint. We enjoyed our day here
