I am 1 of 5 tour guides in the whole of Belfast that can say this. You will experience both sides of the community where the conflict took place, an unbiased tour and lots of colorful murals that depict the struggles along the way, where you can sign the famous peace wall and you'll have plenty of photo opportunities. This tour is a great experience for the whole family and will take you back in time right up to the present day. Tour is 90 minutes of history, learning and plenty of "craic" (laughter) along the way.

Local is Best

We saw this tour on a travel show in Australia with rave reviews so added Belfast to our trip to specifically give it a go. We were not disappointed. Diarmaid was a knowledgeable and passionate tour guide, sharing his personal experiences and connections to the history of Belfast. It was so moving— the gates, the murals, signing the peace wall. Diarmaid gave a fair and balanced report— but the personal element he brought to the tour took it to a higher level.

Highly recommend Diarmuid for this tour. He is highly knowledgeable for both sides and gives an unbiased tour. From the time he picked us up, he made us feel very welcome. Fascinating! Thoroughly recommended.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Diarmaid was an exceptional host and driver. So knowledgeable, so passionate and so friendly. The places he took me too and the information he gave was not just fascinating but also balanced, taking into account all sides of The Troubles without bias. The craic was top class as well. 10/10.
