Beijing is beautiful at night!
This was a very unique tour and we really enjoyed our experience. Spring was our guide and she was great. Her enthusiasm and warm personality was infectious and she did a great job bringing us to different parts of the city where we could immerse ourselves with the locals. It was a special tour because it wasn't overly structured and Spring was willing to let us decide what we felt like doing as we walked along. We enjoyed seeing the shops, food vendors, and live music throughout the evening and appreciated Spring for making us feel so welcome on our first night in the city. We will certainly never forget this experience or her.
Great overview of several popular attractions
Bobo picked us up at our hotel lobby and started our tour. She confirmed our itinerary to ensure we got to see everything that was on the list and then she mapped it out so we’d have the best experience based on the attractions and timing. if you’ve been traveling several days like us, this is a great tour because you will spend a lot of the time in the car so you will have some time to rest and not much walking. You get dropped off right by the attractions with the tour guide, snap your pictures, see what you want to see and hop back into the car for the next thing so that was really nice because we were very tired. You do need to bring your patience. This is a very big city and you will spend a lot of the time sitting in traffic, but you just have to enjoy all of the sights and the bicycles and scooters zooming in and out of the cars and Bobo filled some time with stories and facts. We felt we saw a lot in only a few hours.
Beijing private night tour
Our tour guide, Popo took us around Beijing and told us about the history behind the points of interest that we passed by. She was very nice and eager to share many stories. We definitely had a nice time with her as our tour guide :)
Sparkling Night Lights
The night tour was the perfect compliment to our Beijing daytime excursions. It was interesting to be able to see some of the same attractions in daylight and then lit up at night. There was a good variety of attractions in the itinerary, some were drive-by and others were walking. When we discovered that we had already visited a couple of the attractions, our tour guide Bruce was very flexible, allowing us to modify the itinerary so that we could visit a different attraction. Overall, a very enjoyable tour!
