Traveler reviews
A wonderful day learning about this battle
This was an amazing trip. We were so lucky to have Martin as our guide. He gave us a non stop lecture about this battle. He knows everything about it and also has an extensive personal background regarding WW2. While I won’t remember everything, enough of it stuck to give us a great history to build on as we visited sites. Seeing the American Cemetery brought back memories of our Normandy visit. The war Museum covered all of WW2 and the area where the battle occurred was memorable. We has some time in Bastogne and also spent some time in another museum where the barracks still exist. This was a wonderful day and thanks to Martin for providing so much information.
Guide Martin King is the King!!
The guide was fantastic. Martin King was fantastic! Having a WW2 historian as your tour guide was incredible.
Informative tour, but felt a bit long
I got a chance to see many important historical places in the tour and the guide also explained everything well. The sites of Bastogne and Foy were particularly interesting. But it was a bit tiring to travel so many places in one day. It would be nice to have more time at some of the stops. Overall a good experience, but it was a bit too long for me.
A good historical review...
A good historical review and exhaustive explanations that added to our comprehension and concourse of the battles
If we are only going to...
If we are only going to have limited time at the museums, they should just be skipped altogether for more sites to see with the guide's expertise.
