Out of all Spanish cities, Barcelona is the biggest melting pot with an impressive history and identity of its own. Now, its food scene is a mix of both Spanish and uniquely Catalan classics. On this tour with a small group of just 12 other people, you’ll get a sense of this fascinating past as well as the ever-changing present, both of which make Barcelona’s food story what it is today. 

Stop At: Nou Celler 
Description: Begin your tour at a family-run restaurant serving the locals of El Born since the 1960s. Sit down for a classic Catalan breakfast, including the Spanish potato omelet and two local bites served on artisan bread, toasted to perfection.

 Stop At: La Campana, Calle Princesa, 36, 08003 Barcelona Spain 
 Description: This treasure trove is one of the last remaining specialty stores in the region. La Campana is run by two sisters who have adapted to modern times while retaining the authenticity that made this store last since the 1890s. Here, you’ll taste four delicious samples of the most recognizable Spanish treats: turrón.

Description: Visit an authentic food market in the city and wander through enticing stalls as you learn about local traditions and customs. Tastings are included along the way: seasonal fruit, delicious Spanish cheeses, and cured meats, including jamón ibérico.

 Description: This bodega is a true hidden gem and a favorite among those seeking a relaxed environment to enjoy local cuisine. Try one of Barcelona’s famous tapas: the bomba, originally created in this very neighborhood, alongside some mouthwatering vermouth.

 Description: Located in a famous 18th century winery and one of the oldest buildings in the neighborhood, Can Ramonet is the place to go for seafood in Barcelona. Take in the historic surroundings as you enjoy a plate of fresh paella and your choice of a glass of white or red wine.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts

Cancellations received greater than 24 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive or arrives after tour departure.
