We will start this day with driving 35km north of Siem Reap to the magnificent Banteay Srei temple - the Citadel of women. This is a small Hindu temple, dating back to the 10th century, has three central towers each decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities, carved from pink sandstone contrasting with the main walls made of laterite. While many of Angkor temples are impressive because of their sheer size, Banteay Srei stands out by the quality of craftsmanship on pinkish sandstone. On the way back, we will drive through many local villages including Preah Dak Village. It is a famous and popular place for souvenirs such as objects and arts. Visitors can discover beautiful places and natural life mixed with souvenirs shops with most things are handmade by villagers from surrounding Angkor National Park.
Afternoon, we continue to visit the East Mebon, a temple with five towers standing on small island in the middle of the artificial lake of the Easter Baray (7 km by 1.8 km), the East Mebon was formerly only accessible by boat. Today, the Baray, once a source of water for irrigation fed by the Siem Reap River, is dry and the temple stands now in a plain of rice fields.
Our next stop will be Prasat Neak Pean, the 12th century temple. It is a small temple with a collection of five ponds representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake Anaavatapta from Hindu mythology.
We will also visit Preah Khan, a labyrinth of pavilions, halls and chapels in a vast area encloses by four walls before heading back to town. Preah Khan was built by King Jayavarman VII at the end of 12th century. • This tour concludes with return transfer to your hotel or any requested drop off point within the city center. • Lunch break at the local restaurants in the National Park during lunch time on own account.

Amazing tour with Nak!!!
We did a tour with Nak and he was absolutely fantastic! He explained so many things with great detail and passion, making everything easy to understand and really interesting. On top of being extremely knowledgeable, he was also a lot of fun — the time flew by and we enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended!
Banteay Srei
I really enjoyed my tour to Banteay Srei and the big circuit. San was a very knowledgeable guide and I learned a lot. This was my second tour with Green Era and I absolutely would use them again.
Banteay Srei and Big Tour from Siem Reap
This was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. Our tour guide San was the best of all the Viator guides I have ever had and I’ve been on a many many Viators. San teaches at the local university teaching history, mythology and Asian religions, so, the best background you could ask for!
Greenera and Nak are always on top.
Reunion with Nak after little trading with Vibol de Greenera. To see Beng Mealea (the jungle book), Bantey Srei (the beautiful pink sandstone of Malraux the rascal, Bantey Samré and Preah Khan. Very few people, dream visit conditions, especially in Beng Mealea which is really worth it despite the distance.
Superb visit of temples with Nak today. He knows and tells with pleasure all the mythology! Perfect.
Very nice day well organized and with incredible visits like Beng mealea with the mythological stories of Nak and the sound of jungle birds thank you very much
