Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

Good to know
- for the east tour (Gates of Heaven) it is recommended to start early 4 - 5 am
- Please note there will be additional surcharge if the time exceed 10 hours. Overtime is USD $5/hour
- In 10 hours normally you can visit 4 - 6 places on one direction either ubud, east, south or north Bali . Number of places visited also depends on how much time you spend and also local traffic condition.
- Please mention your plan/itinerary in remarks so tour operator can well prepared
- if the customers go out from the cover area will charge additional cost depent where they like to go

Everything about the service received was A+! We sent a list of places we hoped to see and they helped us narrow down to what was achievable in a 10 hr day. Day in Bali
Excellent driver and good tour guide. Took us to the GWK and the Uluwatu temple. And then to a wonderful seaside restaurant with ocean views and amazing seafood. The driver was courteous and knowledgeable. I recommend Vitha highly

Having a guide helps with the traffic and the how tos. It is a must to get the most out of your day. Ketoot was able to navigate the sites and also make recommendations. We were looking for a way to use time between exiting a cruise and waiting for a flight.
