Dewa was a great tour...
Dewa was a great tour guide and driver. He brought us to all the locations on the sight and then also added some things to fill in the time. One added stop on the way, was Jungle Gold Chocolate shop. Which was great. There was a window where you could watch them make the chocolate and then another room which had cups of all the different chocolate flavors that they sold tfor tasting. We ended up buying variety packages for co-workers back home. The first actual stop on the tour was Lake Beratan. This was a nice relaxing area to walk around and there was an area where you could buy fish food and feed the Koi fish. Lots of great scenic photos areas. On the tour is also Handara Gate which had an hour and a half wait to get your picture with this gate. Very famous we did stop get out and take a distant photo but we personally were not interested in waiting for possibly 2 hours for that photo. So to fill t he time our wonderful tour guide took us to twin lakes. This was pretty and they had some unique animals that you could take photos with for a donation. So my son got his photo with a python, a bat and iguana. Next on the list of stops were the Jatiluwih Greenland rice terraces. We were taveling right after the fields had been harvested so they were not the lush green but he did take us to a nice restauant that overlooked the terraces. (the restaurant was a cash only no card, we had cash luckily) After lunch was the Tanah Lot Temple. where we spent the rest of the afternoon until sunset. We enjoyed checking out the tidepools and comparing photos who took the best wave crashing on the rocks photo.
Temple
