Full description
Crossing the outcrop of the Acropolis, we will visit the neighborhood of Anafiotika, where we will stop by a family-run store that stocks seasonal products from across Greece. Moving on to nearby Syntagma, we will get a taste of Greek kebab, made by the same family for three generations, and will then go behind-the-scenes at an old-fashioned tradesmen’s canteen, where the local workers choose their food directly from the many pots in the kitchen. We will finish our tour on a sweet note: with a classic desserts based on recipes from the island of Hydra.

Thanks for an excellent day full of delicious and very varied food experiences, from onigiri all the way to sake. Our host, Diana, was lovely and knowledgeable.
We did the Yanesen tour with Michelle and had a wonderful time exploring corners of Tokyo we were unlikely to find ourselves. The food and venues were very well curated with cultural and historic locations well spaced between eating and drinking. Michelle provided excellent background and context at all times and the pacing was great. Finishing with a drink on a makeshift street bar was perfect. Thank you Michelle for one of the best experiences of our trip.
