Overall the 3 day hike...
Overall the 3 day hike was a good experience. The landscapes were most beautiful on the first day, afterswards it was a little monotonous especially because on the last day we just walked the same route back because there was some problem with the other path. The food was really amazing, freshly prepared and delicious. We expected to stay in a shared dormitory so having our own room and bathroom was amazing. Our guide Mustafa was really caring and tried to meet our needs. However after our group became smaller on the second day he walked a little too fast for me and did not take enough water breaks. Also he could be a little pushy, he insisted I wasn't smiling enough and asked if I was happy at least 15 times a day (I just had a neutral face because hiking can be exhausting). Mustafa always timed the walks perfectly, we always arrived right before it started raining. He was always open for us to awnser our questions, taught us about the different vallies and even played cards with us. We are happy to have done this hike and get a feel of life in the valley that would have not been possible from a day trip.
Enriching and warm visit
Rachida is a very good guide, attentive and very helpful. She answered all our questions with patience and kindness, while making the visit lively and enjoyable. His knowledge of the place and his sense of sharing really made the experience unique. Thank you again for this beautiful time, I highly recommend!
Fabulous trekking experience
Every aspect of this 3 day trekking trip was fantastic. Ishmal, our guide, was engaging and knowledgeable and Omar, the chef managed to produce amazing meals with a single portable stove. The trek took us over mountains and through various Berber villages. The scenery was remarkably varied and the treks challenging enough to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. Meeting and walking with new people added immensely to the experience. I cannot recommend this trek highly enough. Walking boots recommended.
Excellent
Absolutely stunning hike. Throughout the whole time my friend and I were very well looked after and the accomodation and food provided was great. In particular our guide mohamed bowajamor was beyond patient and helpful. Would definitely recommend
Amazing experience!
We had a great experience! The views were amazing, the hikes were challenging but doable and our guide Mohamed Bowajamor and Abdul were really friendly. Sometimes talking in English was a bit hard, but everything was understandable. Would be a nice addition if you get to learn more about the berber history/way of live, during the walk.
