The staircase that gives access to Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia seems to lead to paradise. From the top of the hill, what you see is a paradisiacal setting. It is difficult not to be mesmerized by the view at the top of the stairs, from where you can see the white sand, the colorful sea and the green still preserved in the neighboring Ilha do Farol. The sand is white and very thin, surrounded by rocks and green vegetation. There is a dune in the center of the beach that offers a beautiful viewpoint.

The Blue Grotto is part of the boat trip that leads to Praia do Farol. The rock formation is just one of the many natural beauties on the route. The whole open sea route is beautiful, with impressive water tones. The Blue Grotto is just one of the beautiful moments, which still have the waves that break fiercely against the rocks. When traveling to the Blue Grotto, always keep your eyes open. It is not uncommon for tourists to spot dolphins. With any luck, there is even the possibility of seeing some orcas.

The downtown Búzios works as a large open-air mall and goes far beyond a mere set of shop windows. When night comes, it's time to tour around the main gastronomic hub in town, the “Pedras St”. It is full of live music, delicious bars and very lively people. It’s the perfect place to start the night's work. We take a table and drink, keep an eye on the neighbors and enjoy chatting in several languages. Yeah! Búzios provides a beautiful mix of Brazilians and gringos. All together makes Búzios night one of the best features of the city.

Like every weekend, I come to Paradise Pata to take my good and cold chopinho and take advantage of to give a relaxed. A paradise on the coast of Rio
The beaches in Arraial do Cabo are crazy, transparent water and white sand. The boat ride was very well organized and the Lucas guide was very friendly. In Buzios we walked through the center, ate local food and saw very nice shops. I recommend doing this tour if you have little time in Rio

More than just a beach
The beaches are beautiful yes, but what I liked most was the pace of the walk – gave time to relax, dive, walk the streets of Búzios and still enjoy the night vibe. Beatriz, our guide, was wonderful from beginning to end.
