We did really enjoy our trip esp. With guide Apri and driver Hike
Tour of Gyumri – Don’t miss it!
Today we were on a tour: first we visited Arichavank and then Gyumri. Our driver Lavon and guide Nina were very fun and friendly. We learned a lot about the places we visited. The atmosphere throughout the tour was wonderful because Nina talked about everything humorously and was always open to our questions. We also really liked the way the tour was organized. At the end, we had free time to take another walk around town on our own. It was particularly great because we'd already seen some places for a while before and then we could go back to exactly where we liked it the most. It is impressive how beautiful this city is, despite the fact that it was here in 1988 that a terrible tragedy occurred: a devastating earthquake. Since one of my relatives was helping here at the time after the earthquake, it was particularly important for me personally to visit Gyumri. Eternal memory to the victims of this terrible tragedy! And may Gyumri prosper even more in the future. Thanks to Lavon and Nina, this trip was an unforgettable experience for us. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back to Gyumri again!
