A repulgue of stories and smiles

We had originally booked another popular cooking experience, only to have the operator cancel a few days before saying the restaurant was having maintenance. Our hotel found us a private empanada & wine experience with Mica that was the same price. And we're so glad it worked out this way! The Wine Window in Palermo Soho where the event was held, while closed, is a historic and unique complex. The weather was perfect, so we were able to cook outdoors. Mica is very well-traveled, worldly, has experience in tourism and hospitality, and is a general wealth of information. The pours were generous, as were the empanada fillings, but we were stuffed by the amazing hospitality of Mica. It really felt like a family experience, and we would recommend this to anyone coming to Buenos Aires! ¡Chin chin!

Must-Do Culinary Experience

This is a must do if you’re in Buenos Aires! We came here from the USA with a group, and this was an amazing way to learn about local culinary culture while learning something new. The employees were incredibly nice and welcoming. Valentin, Raquel, Marla and Valeria were incredible hosts that made this experience educational and fun all while allowing us to taste a true local cuisine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something to do — whether you’re alone or with a group as the team is great at helping you feel at home.

Hand made empanadas while making friends

We had a great experience with Mika and Val. They taught us how to make authentic Argentian empanadas. It was a group effort from the cutting of ingredients to folding the empanadas. We all came in to this experience and left family/friends. It’s definitely an experience with some great wine.
