Traveler reviews
A little less than perfect
Iguazú falls and El Calafate in Patagonia are great places to visit. Pickups at the airport in Buenos Aires was not good. When we arrived from US, driver was not there and when we called the numbers provided by signature tours, there was no response. We had to pay for our taxi and the whole experience was dreadful. Similarly, when we arrived from El calafate, the driver was not there where he was supposed to be. Signature tours told us that the driver would hold a placard with our names. Driver didn’t do it and it was difficult to identify the driver. Whereas, both in Iguazu falls and El calafate, the drivers held placards with our names and it was easy to connect. In Iguazu falls , we were assigned to a hotel on Brazilian side whereas most of our activities were in Argentina. Rest of the group was put up in Argentina. It took us several hours a day traveling back and forth crossing two immigration check points and missing breakfast in the hotel. It was a mess. All of the tour guides were polite and knowledgeable. Novotel in Buenos Aires is aged and noisy. If were to do a trip on our own, we would have chosen a quieter place in Palermo or similar neighborhood..
Very well organized trip
I enjoyed taking this trip. The trip was very well organized. The hotels, especially the ones for Iguazu and Calafate were incredible! The airport pick ups and tour pickups were seamless. Pablo and Eduardo were responsible for my trip organization and they did a fantastic job with organizing my trip.
Great holiday
It is a brilliant experience. The local agent Manuel helped us a lot to make all arrangements, accommodation, domestic flights, etc. All went well and smoothly. Iguazú and Calafate both are amazing in different ways. We had great time , just wish had more days in Calafate and area.
great trip
The main reason, other than the beautiful scenery was our tour guide Pablo. He went above and beyond to accommodate any changes, helping us, having dinner with us and feeling very much a part of the group. he worked tirelessly to ensure every member of the group was happy and included. The trip would not have been as wonderful as it was without him.
