Itinerary
The guide will pick up you at 8 am from your hotel and we will start this day with exploring the temples of UNESCO listed Angkor National Park, the World Heritage site and it's the World Largest Religious Monument. Pay the entrance fee on your own account at the ticket office where we will stop for you to buy one and make your way with the guide to the first stop at Angkor Wat to visit the largest and most impressive of all Angkor temples, considered among one of the 7th Wonders of the World.
Angkor Wat was built between 1113-1150 AD and dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god of preservation. It's the best preserved of all the temples. Its layout and its scale are simply breathtaking, the wall surrounding the enclosure measures 1,000 by 800 meters and the moat, said to represent the oceans of the world is 200 meters wide. Angkor Wat is an architectural allegory of the mythical Mount Meru in the center of the world (Himalaya). This amazing temple homes the longest continuous bas relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls.
We also explore the Angkor Thom complex. Its vast walls, some 6m wide, 8m high and 13km in length contain many monuments. Inside the walls the king, his relatives and officials, military officers and priests took residence, the rest of the people lived outside of the great enclosure, between the two artificial lakes. Our visit will begin with the South Gate, a beautiful introduction to Angkor Thom with well-restored statues of Asuras (demons) and gods lining the bridge.
Inside the complex, we will first visit the Bayon with 200 endless smiling faces. This temple mountain situated in the center of Angkor Thom City where sets the Bayon apart from many other Angkor monuments
and we will continue to the Elephant Terrace, which owes its name to its outstanding depiction of these animals and the Terrace of Leper King, which presents a magnificent sculpture, popularly known as the leper king.
In Ta Prohm, get enchanted with the sight of the ruins taken over by tree roots, a demonstration of the awesome power of nature. Learn how the controversial site was left by French archaeologists to the destructive power of the jungle. Return to your hotel after tour.

Excellent private guided tour by Nak
We had a great time seeing Angkor Wat with a private tour guide Nak. He was excellent in his knowledge of history, showing us around and taking great photos of us. I highly recommend this trip with a personal guide like Nak to see this UNESCO site.
They did excellent work. Walked at a pace I was comfortable with. It was incredibly informative
I cannot express how incredibly happy I am with the tour that was given to me. They did an absolutely brilliant job. Sup was his name and the the tot-tutt driver was Mr. Wilkins. They did brilliantly. I will be using this same company in the future
The perfect way to see Angkor Wat.
We had a great time at Angkor Wat! It is very big and would be hard to know how to see the highlights without a tour guide. Our guide Sath was very knowledgeable, and friendly, and took amazing photos of us. He knew the way very well and shared so much information with us. He also provided cold drinking water and offered an umbrella. Mr Savy was our Tuk Tuk driver and he was very dependable. He greeted us with cold towels each time we returned to the Tuk Tuk. The ride was very relaxing. We had lunch at a nice restaurant and they made recommendations for what to order. I have always wanted to see Angkor Wat and the experience was even better than I expected, because Sath knew the way so well we went through the entrance the locals use and were able to avoid the major crowds.
Amazing private tour
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a private tour to Angkor Wat yesterday with Sun, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Sun was incredibly informative and shared so much interesting knowledge about the temples, Cambodian culture, and the history behind everything we visited. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire tour, and both Sun and the driver were extremely kind, friendly, and lovely people. Their warm and welcoming attitude made the experience even more special. I was truly amazed by the beauty of the temples and learned so much during the day. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cambodia. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — definitely a five-star tour! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wonderful experience!
We made a last minute decision to fly to Cambodia for a day to visit Angkor Wat and we are so glad we did! They were able to arrange a driver for the day and our guide, Nak, met us at the entrance. Nak was so knowledgeable and helpful! He and our driver made our quick trip so enjoyable. We learned so much and wished that we had more time!! Can’t recommend enough!
