Traveler reviews
Local company is irresponsible
Although the road to Chile was amazing and the scenery was special and unique, we were very disappointed with this trip. The staff was irresponsible. After checking our luggage we got a break and when we returned to the pick up place we were told we found out that they ran away and left us there, with no cell phone reception, meaning there is no way to call for help. Our luggage continued with the bus that went towards the ship and no one bothered to look for us, even though the place is very small (it is a small and empty island) and of course there is nowhere to go. Literally ran away without checking what was with us, the guides change every second and there is no guide who accompanies you from the beginning of the day to the end. irresponsible.
Beautiful way to cross from Argentina to Chile
We used Cruce Andino in January 2020. Very well organized journey. We used it with optional overnight stop in Pela. If hou have an extra day, it’s a beautiful place with great view of the mountains. Be aware of the horse flies!! We were still able to enjoy the walk and views and had a little break between bus/ferry rides
