- We visit an ancient temple during this tour. Remember that temples are sacred places and you must dress appropriately. Shoulders and knees need to be covered.
- Don't expect countless vendors in boats at Amphawa Market; this market is more like a canal-side market. In Thai, these markets are called “talat nam” which literally means “water market”, but is translated to English as “floating market”. Of course, there are some vendors on small wooden boats that cook and sell their food to visitors. But you will mostly find dozens of restaurants and food stalls along the canal serving delicious food and local delicacies. Amphawa Market is definitely worth visiting though. It is a very popular market among the locals because of all the delicious snacks and food that can be found there.
- As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available day, though a rescheduling fee of THB 500 per person will apply. No refund will be provided in case of late arrival.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
- The exact departure time from the meeting point will be sent to you via private message on the booking platform one day before the tour. Please check your email (including your junk/spam folder) carefully the day before your tour to avoid any delays or missed departures.
- Depending on the number of participants, departure from the meeting point will be between 12:30 and 13:00 hrs.

Amphawa Floating Market
Compared to a previous experience in July 2025 at the Damnoen Saduak floating market, I believe that the Amphawa market, although it attracts many tourists, is more authentic. The trip through the canals at sunset gave me some beautiful emotions, and I really liked the food consumed in a small restaurant with a view and found it delicious.

My mom and I had such a great time on our tour today❤️ We were lucky enough to have Paul as our host, and he was the best! His energy was so vibrant, enthusiastic, and funny, which made the whole experience even more fun. We had such a memorable time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting😊
Amazing Day Trip
Our tour guide, Paul, was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire trip. We had a wonderful time at Amphawa Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market. Very lovely trip
The whole trip was really lovely: train market, buddhistic temples, authentic floating market in Amphawa, firefly boat trip. We really enjoyed it. Our guide Paul was extremly friendly, communicative and funny. He gave us a lot of information about Thailand and the places we visited. Also he was much carrying about or needs. We had 2x around 1h to have a look around for ourselves at train and floating market. In that time we could go shopping, eat local food and take pictures. Groupsize was 4 people without guide. We were 2 couples. Peak was firefly boat trip. They were everywhere around us. 5/5 🤗
July 2026 excursion
Mr. Paul is the best guide we could have had. Friendly and kind, always present during the experience, he explained everything in great detail and made us laugh a lot, making the experience unique! He took care of us, letting us taste typical dishes and pampering us with snacks and tips! Truly an experience worth it, especially thanks to your presence that we will remember forever!
