Very underwhelming experience overall
The room felt old, worn, and in need of serious updating. The vegetarian food was honestly shocking: bland, repetitive, and probably the most disappointing vegetarian meals I had in all my trip. For a trip at this price point, I expected far more care and quality. The only real positive was the staff, who were friendly and polite despite everything else feeling below expectations
Lovely over night
We had a wonderful overnight trip with Amanda Luxury. It wasn’t too crowded or fast paced. Traveling through a more remote area was simply the best. We booked the Pres suite for a little extra space and the amount of windows was amazing. Our attendant was David and he was wonderful.
Comfortable luxury experience
This is my second visit to Ha long bay, this time with Amanda Luxury Cruise and this was a very enjoyable experience. The cruise ship is beautiful, the rooms are comfy. It was very hot when we visited but the air con was working well in the dinning area and rooms. The food is good, nice selection, the staff are lovely and friendly, especially David. I do think it’s better to do a cruise that includes Han La bay, it’s gorgeous and not too busy.
