On this snowmobile adventure, you will travel from central Alta to Gargia Valley and the historic 150-year-old Gargia Lodge. After outfitting and a comprehensive safety briefing, your guide will lead you along the old postal road up to the mountain range called Beskades, traversing snow-covered forests and expansive mountain plains. Embrace the true arctic wilderness and learn about local history and lifestyle as you drive through Europe’s largest mountain plateau. This 4-hour journey includes a brief pause at Beskades for breathtaking panoramic views before descending back to Gargia Lodge and returning to Alta.
